Sant Jaume dels Domenys, Banyeres del Penedès, Bellvei del Penedès, La Bisbal del Penedès, Rocafort de Queralt, Blancafort, Rodonyà and Pira. The Cellers Domenys organisation is made up of eight cooperatives, with a total of more than 800 members, a human team formed by around fifty professionals and with territorial spread of over 2,600 hectares of vineyards and olive orchards.
Cellers Domenys is a top grade cooperative preparing food products of 100% cooperative origin. Wines for daily consumption and for special events, cold-pressed oils, well structured blends and cavas for celebrating the finest occasions. All these are exhaustively controlled, from production in the field until they are finally bottled by Domenio.
The cooperative heart of Cellers Domenys gives our products a special character, not only in the end result but also through the contribution made by the land and the people who work there.
Cellers Domenys, a union of 8 villages
Cellers Domenys was formed in 1917 in Sant Jaume dels Domenys. In 2006 a move began to join together the various cooperatives in the area, ending in 2024 with a brotherhood of eight villages: Banyeres del Penedès, Bellvei del Penedès, La Bisbal del Penedès, Blancafort, Rocafort de Queralt, Rodonyà, Pira and, of course, Sant Jaume dels Domenys.
This merger of villages has resulted in an organisation which has extended its borders to take on new challenges, now from an international perspective, in new targets to be achieved day by day. With its way of working, very local and in a cooperative spirit, Cellers Domenys is an enterprise which has been growing for more than 100 years due to the confidence it inspires and the attributes of its products. With its sights set on offering high quality standards throughout the production, the organisation maintains its backing for innovation and technology in the preparation of all its wines, cavas and oils, while also, committed to the land, working on all those institutional decisions that are directed to positioning the cooperative as a benchmark worldwide, but without losing the cooperative essence.
